It is through their motivation and determination that gives me courage to strive for the best wanting to keep going and continue to look at ways I can make a difference to their lives.
I want to thank my family, for their love and support, my husband for believing in me, because God knows I needed that! My parents especially for supporting me and looking after me so I can provide care for others.
My mum would send me home cooked food after a long day at work, so I don’t have to worry about cooking. Nothing is more comforting than your Mum’s cooking! My Dad rings me every day to tell me how proud he is of me. He is my strength, my inspiration and continues to remind me keep going. As he is a stroke survivor himself, he knows from personal experience how imperative people like me are for post-stroke recovery, not only for the patient but for the family and bringing back smiles to their faces. If it wasn’t for my dad, I would not be a speech therapist today.
Last but definitely not the least, my son, Aryan jani. Thank you for coming into my life. You have made my life better in so many ways. You have helped me grow as a person and you make me want to be the best version of myself everyday. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have dreamt of setting up my own private practice.
